Tokunbo holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and an M.SC in Information Technology. He started his career at in Tower Aluminium Nigeria Ltd and subsequently worked in Barclays Bank UK, Royal Bank of Canada, JP Morgan Chase and Guaranty Trust Bank Nigeria His 30 years post-graduation working experience cuts across Engineering, Banking, Program Management of Information Technology, Telecommunications and Civil/Building Infrastructure Projects/Programs in world class organizations; 15 years of which have been at senior management level. Over the years, he has had project management responsibility for the end to end development of over 145 bank buildings of different scales and sizes including a Tier3 data center and contact center. Tokunbo’s passion for quality input into the delivery of civil infrastructure gave birth to the vision of setting up Henrywarleys Nigeria Ltd. Tokunbo joined the company as Executive Chairman in July 2018 and he has the responsibility for piloting Henrywarleys towards the delivery of its strategic goals and objectives
Dr. Ore Sofekun has over 25 years’ experience spanning: Funds Management, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Management Consulting and Manufacturing Sectors. She is versed in fund management, finance & accounting, business analysis & process improvement, project management, and operational & financial risk assessment. She holds BSc., MS, and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife & Iowa State University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is CEO of Foothold Advisors Limited where she provides business and financial consulting services to Firms. She was the pioneer Managing Director for Investment One Vencap and pioneer Chief Operating Officer of CardinalStone Partners. Ore is a past President of the Fund Managers Association of Nigeria (FMAN) and while serving on Ministry of Finance, CBN & SEC-mandated committees, she interacted with colleagues from across the Nigerian Capital Market and MDAs. She is a Fellow, Institute of Credit Administration, and a member, Institute of Strategic Management.
Nicholas Nyamali is the Group Managing Director of Investment One Financial Services Limited. He holds two Masters’ Degrees in Law and Economics as well as an MBA from the London Business School. He is a Global Advisory Council Member of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK and a member of the Institute of Securities & Investment, UK. Nicholas started his career as a Barrister & Solicitor with Haruna & Co. He then worked with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) before joining GTBank Plc, working at various times in the legal, corporate banking and corporate finance teams. He thereafter worked with Barclays Capital, London and Mckinsey & Co, London before returning to Nigeria to set up Investment One Financial Services Limited (then GTB Asset Management Limited, a former subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.).
Tayo joined Henrywarleys Nigeria limited in July 2017 as Chief Executive officer with the overall responsibility for the day to day management of the factory, quality assurance and prompt delivery of our products to our valuable customers She graduated in 1989 from Bayero Universiy Kano, with a Bachelor Of Science (Hons) Degree in Applied Biology after which she worked in the quality control units of Sona Breweries and 7Up In 1996, she left for the UK where she gained Financial Services and Managerial experience at NatWest Bank, Investec Bank, JP Morgan and Pershing’s Investment (Credit Sussie). She returned to Nigeria in 2006. Prior to joining HenryWarleys, Tayo founded Peakcock Catering and Events as Garnet homes.
Tayo Babalakin is the Managing Partner of Consultants Collaborative Partnership (CCP), an architectural partnership providing Architectural, Building consultancy, and Project management services, Landscape and Interior design solutions for various categories of clients. He has over 25 years of significant experience in Hospitality, Institutional, Educational and Residential projects. Babalakin holds B.Sc and M.Sc in Architecture both from Ahmadu Bello University Zaira, Nigeria and also a Graduate Diploma in Energy studies (Climate Responsive Architecture) from Architectural Association School, London.
Mr. Ademola Aofolaju is the Managing Director of Investment One Capital Management subsidiary. Prior to his move to Investment One, he worked with BGL Asset Management Limited where he was Head of the Specialty Asset Management Desk. Subsequently, he joined Kakawa Asset Management Limited (KAML) and was Head, Investment Management and Client Counsel. His experience cuts across Commercial and Corporate Banking, Corporate Finance and Investment Management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife.
